| Happy Friday, Fam!

And not only is it Friday, it’s also the first day of a new month. The month of love: February! And as the first day of February fell on a Friday this year, I thought it was only fitting to make this week’s Friday favorites almost all about Valentine’s Day! If you’re not familiar, Friday Favorites is a semi regular round up of what I have been loving from the week. But as I have not done a FF in quite some time, this will be more of a monthly round up. So grab your favorite cup of coffee, tea, water, protein shake and let’s get into not only what’s on my under $50 Valentine’s Day wish list, but also a host of other fun and bits I have been loving!

Are high fashion houses pushing for diversity as hard as we think they are? | Valerie over at On A Curve explores and explains, in a very well written and well-researched think piece, Miuccia Prada’s concerning and problematic mindset about what freedom of expression, speech and art in the fashion world means.

$10 Alex and Ani Sale | If you’ve ever wondered about the bracelets you see me wearing all the time, they are from the popular accessories brand, Alex and Ani. One of my girlfriends let me know they are having a KILLER $10 sale, including 3 bangle stacks, necklaces and wraps all for $10!

My Valentine’s Day wish list under $50 | Valentine’s day has always been more than just a Hallmark holiday created to buy your significant other presents. At the heart of it, I love to celebrate love. And when we are able, part of the way Tim and I like to celebrate each other and show our appreciate is through small tokens of affection. We don’t and have never gone all out for our Valentine’s day gifts, so I’m sharing what’s on my list that is less than $50! Monogrammed favorites from Mark and Graham are a go-to when you want something personalized without spending a fortune. It’s a new company to me, but I have heard and read so many good and cute things, I began my mini collection after I got married and keep coming back. I also love all things cozy, so this robe from BHLDN that’s on sale for less than $50 was a must have! And what’s Valentine’s day without a little jewelry! This monogram necklace (can you tell I have a thing for monograms right now!?) from Anthropologie is a no brainer!

No New Sweethearts! | It’s a sad day for the Valentine’s day candy lover because the iconic Sweethearts candies are in very short supply! I mean, how else am I supposed to express my emotions without a large bowl full of mediocre heart sayings?!

Leslie Knope’s Galentine’s Day | Galentine’s Day really gained mainstream popularity from the hit TV show Parks and Recreation. If you have Netflix, there’s an entire episode all about it and here is a round up of some of the best Knope-inspired gifts for your girlfriends!

Love Loudly. Live Loudly,
